Once again, my name is Hai He. Welcome to my website! This page will tell you more about me as a tutor and about online tutoring.
My Experience as a Math Tutor:
· I have been tutoring math since I was a high school senior.
· I tutor all grade levels including elementary, junior high, senior high (including PSAT/SAT exams), and college.
· I can tutor almost everything in math, from algebra and geometry to trigonometry and calculus.
· Most students I have tutored said I am patient, thorough, easy-to-understand, and I am better than their teachers!
My Achievements in Math:
· I once obtained the top score of 800 in SAT math.
· I was the runner-up in the U.S. Collegiate Mathematics Competition in 2000.

That means anything from algebra, geometry, trigonometry, to calculus.
If you need my help in math, you can set up an appointment with me by e-mailing or calling me and tell me the date, time and subject area you need my help. No charge for initial consultation. For personal tutoring appointments, just check with me for available dates and times. For the online tutoring, we can use instant messenger. We can also do telephone tutoring. However, you must set up an appointment with me first, to find the available time.
Now, about my rates:
· Basic In-home rate is $25 per hour plus transportation time:
– Manhattan (between 96th and 14th Streets and west of Broadway): No travel charges.
– Elsewhere: $10 for each ˝ hour of travel time.
· On-Line or by phone (CREDIT CARDS only), I start at $25 for the first hour and an increment of $2 for every 5 minutes, thereafter. For example:
– If the tutoring time is 1 to 60 minutes, it will cost $25.
– If the tutoring time is 61 to 65 minutes, it will cost $27.
– If the tutoring time is 66 to 70 minutes, it will cost $29, and so on.
How are you going to be charged? For in-home tutoring it’s cash or check. For phone or online work, I accept the following major credit cards:

· MasterCard
· American Express
· Discover
· JCB
Credit card information will be expected for first-time students. Twenty-five dollars initial charge will be approved before the first tutoring session, and additional costs will be charged at the conclusion of the session. E-mail me for more information.
… is very valuable. For that reason I cannot accept long and out-of-Manhattan commutes unless I charge from the time I leave my home until I return. I don’t do last minute tutoring. When we begin, you’ll be expected to give me your undivided attention. No phone calls or interruptions. Appointment cancellation policy is 24 hours. We start and finish ON TIME.
